This year will be divided into 5 units in which we will learn how to live off the land, work as a community, develop a government, create businesses to grow our economy, and enjoy the arts once our society has been established. As a Transition to Scholar phase class, we will be challenging the students to rise up and take initiative with their learning both in class and at home. A goal in class will be for students to be able to form their ideas and be able to express them to the groups. We will encourage the students to have a weekly mentor meeting with their parent at home and to work with their groups in class. Some activities will include, survival skills, gardening, debate, and art. Join the adventure as we set sail for our new land!
