QUEST 3

PREREQUISITES: Quest 1 & 2 or mentor approval
CONTENT: Quest 3 is a survey of the major worldviews. The students discover these worldviews through literature while they learn to look at the world from different perspectives and identify similarities and differences from their own view. The class will study and practice personal government, and explore the principles of freedom against the backdrop of current events. The class culminates in a Supreme Court simulation where the scholars test their ability to think logically, think on their feet and speak persuasively.
EXPECTATIONS: The class work includes 1st Semester: 6-7 books and writing your personal manifesto. 2nd semester - 3-4 books, 3-4 current event papers, 2 court brief write ups and preparing for the supreme court simulation
