TIME: Session 1
CONTENT: The girls will study great women throughout history who were able to make a difference through their influence. We’ll read books and research what characteristics made these women great and then identify those characteristics in ourselves. The girls are encouraged to set goals each month to accomplish hard things. Activities in class will reflect what the woman was passionate about and shape our study and growth. The girls are then given the opportunity to display what they have learned about each woman and their personal goals by making lapbooks. Additionally, the girls will study their own mother. For completing the goals, reading, and writing a paper on each woman, the girls will receive a charm to add to their charm bracelet.
